Baby carrots roasted in maple syrup and garlic for a sweet and salty side dish.
I have been on a little bit of a maple syrup kick lately. Is there anything that doesn’t taste better with a little maple syrup? I think not.
These carrots are a quick easy side dish that taste delicious. There are only four ingredients; carrots, maple syrup, olive oil, and garlic salt. Just toss everything together and roast and you will have a sweet and salty side dish ready in no time!
Be careful, these carrots might steal the thunder from your main dish, they are that good!

Serves: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 pound of baby carrots
- ⅓ cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set aside. (I strongly recommend lining the pan as the syrup will caramelize and make the pan very difficult to clean)

- Bake for 35-45 minutes until cooked through, stirring approximately every 10 minutes. Serve immediately.
